  1. Jan 01,  · Issuing their own debut album Give 'Em Hell in that same great year, Witchfynde are a large curiosity to any self respecting metal fan. This is definetly an album to dig for. After the first listen to this album, the first thing you get is this group obviously had a lot more ambition for a wider sound, they are basically Sabbath plus Rush/5(21).

Mar 06,  · There exists a rare mispress of this album; an unknown number of Stone City Band / Witchfynde - The Boys Are Back / Give 'Em Hell have the B-side of Give 'Em Hell pressed on the disc instead of the Stone City Band tracks. The sleeve, etiquettes etc. show just the Stone City Band info, but the all the music on side B is by Witchfynde/5().

These included expansive cuts like "Unto the Ages of the Ages," and possibly their best-known track, "Leaving Nadir" -- an unabashed tribute (some would say "retread") of Geddy Lee and Co.'s "Xanadu." All of which makes Give 'Em Hell one of the more original and surprisingly lasting documents from this exciting era for heavy metal.8/
